You finally want to make your dream of a valuable watch come true, but you don’t know which model you should buy? Our infographic will help you navigate the fascinating world of luxury watches.

Of course, all watches mentioned are available on Chrono24, so purchase yours today.

Are you the passionate or analytical type? Are you intrigued by the delicate technology or simply want to impress your colleagues? Do you prefer a watch made by famous manufacturers like Rolex, Omega, and Breitling or desire a more extravagant piece? Is your budget $1,000, $5,000 or even $10,000, and how well should your watch retain its value?

A timepiece can have many different functions. Some include a chronograph, others can track the progress of your exercise. Many classic watches were built upon a tradition of excellent craftsmanship. Different watches can match different styles. If you like it casual, a watch like the Omega Seamaster or TAG Heuer Carrera might be right for you. If you prefer an elegant design, the IWC Portofino or IWC Portuguese might be the better pick.

Find your way through the different branches of the infographic to find the watch that fits you perfectly. Most important of all, enjoy the search!

The choice of watches shown in your graphic is very narrow. Many people just buy into brands, particularly the brands you have shown, because they are more concerned with what other people think than their own preferences. I call them brand suckers. These big brands offer very poor value for money and little in the way of exclusivity and they are nearly all owned by large group corporations.
I much prefer an individual watch company that has good history and its own identity.
I have recently purchased a triple date, moonphase chronograph in a solid gold case from Dubois et Fils – the oldest Swiss watch company- for only £1600. A big brand watch company would want 4 times that amount.
Say no more…
