Every year, people eagerly anticipate Cartier novelties during Watches and Wonders. The brand always surprises us with smart additions to its current line-up of models and adds special limited editions to its Cartier Privé collection. These unique models are always inspired by the great designs that can be found in the brand’s extensive historical archives. For 2025, this is no different. Cartier brings back the legendary Tank à Guichet, adds automatic models to the Tank Louis Cartier line-up, and cleverly adds new models to its Panthère line-up. Let’s go over the Cartier highlights for this year’s Watches and Wonders.
Cartier Tank à Guichets

Let’s kick things off with the biggest new introduction. For 2025, Cartier brings back the legendary Tank à Guichets. This rectangular series of watches features a so-called digital display of the time with separate displays for the jumping hours and creeping minutes. The Tank à Guichets was first introduced in 1928, so the design is almost a century old. But the aesthetic is as relevant as ever, and I’m sure the new Tank à Guichets will be a huge hit.
For 2025, Cartier introduced four new Tank à Guichets models. Three are regular production models in yellow gold, rose gold, and platinum. Additionally, a fourth 200-piece limited edition model in platinum will have a slightly different display of the time compared to the other three models. All four new watches feature a 24.8mm across and 37.6mm long case. Additionally, the cases are just 6mm thick, which makes them super slim and easy to wear.
As you will understand from seeing the watches, they are not water-resistant, so reserve them for indoor activities only. Inside the case, you will find the Cartier caliber 9755 MC. The manual winding movement is derived from the ultra-slim Piaget 430P caliber, which is only 2.1mm thick. A fun detail is that the crown is located on top of the case at 12 o’clock rather than at 3 o’clock.
The three regular production models feature the jumping hour display at 12 o’clock and the minute display at 6 o’clock. For the platinum limited edition, the hour aperture is located at 10 o’clock, whereas the minutes are shown at 4 o’clock; it’s a fun take on the watch’s layout. Another fun detail is that every precious metal gets a unique color for the printed numerals that correspond with the leather strap—red for platinum, green for yellow gold, and gray for rose gold. I particularly love the stylish color combination of the yellow-gold version with its green numerals and green strap. Whichever your favorite is, these new Cartier Tank à Guichets models are a great addition to the brand’s line-up.
Cartier Tank Louis Cartier

At first glance, you might think these new Cartier Tank Louis Cartier models look familiar. And you would be right because the novelty is not so much on the outside but inside the precious metal cases of these two novelties. This year, Cartier adds two automatic models to its Louis Cartier lineup, providing two models that you can wear without having to worry about winding them.
We all know the Tank Louis Cartier as the brand’s biggest classic. The first Tank was introduced in 1917 and has become one of horology’s most recognizable designs. The slightly more elegant Tank Louis Cartier was introduced in 1922 and has become synonymous with the most iconic Tank.
For 2025, the brand adds a yellow gold and rose gold model, both featuring a case that is 27.8mm wide, with 38.1mm long rounded and polished sides, and is just over 8.2mm thick. The cases are slightly bigger and thicker compared to the manual-winding versions. This is obviously because these new Tank LC models are powered by the automatic Cartier 1899 MC movement that offers 40 hours of power reserve and is slightly bigger and thicker than the manual winding counterpart.
But that’s not all! Both models also feature a new guilloché dial, giving the watches an extra injection of style. Finishing off the look of the rose gold model is a semi-matte gray leather strap, whereas the yellow gold model comes on a brown alligator leather strap. These two new Tank LC models are a clever addition to the line-up for people who love the convenience of an automatic movement combined with the style of a Tank Louis Cartier.
Cartier Tressage and Cartier Panthère High-Jewelry

This year, Cartier also impresses us with a string of exciting new releases for ladies. Let’s start with the new Cartier Tressage models. This unique collection of sculpted watches perfectly combines the elegance of a bracelet with the practicality of a quartz wristwatch. Cartier introduces four different models that all feature an elongated rectangular case that measures 56.2mm in length, 25.7mm in width, and 11.5mm thick. The case is wrapped on both sides by a series of asymmetrical twists.
The four configurations range from an elegantly minimalist yellow gold model with a black dial and strap to two extravagant white gold models. The first features a full pavé white gold case set with 916 diamonds on a navy-blue strap, while the second combines 570 diamonds with 330 sapphires for a more colorful presence. Lastly, there is a mixed gold model set with 466 diamonds. If you are looking for a stylish combination of jewelry and a watch, then the Cartier Tressage is an impressive option.
Also added to the lineup for ladies are two new Cartier Panthère High-Jewelry pieces. These unique creations hold the middle between a stylish bangle and an ingenious timepiece. Cartier introduces two different versions of this impressive creation that is probably more jewelry than a timepiece. But that’s also where the ingenious twist of these pieces is.
Cartier Panthère de Cartier

The last line that we would like to highlight is the brand’s Panthère de Cartier line of watches. For 2025, Cartier introduces a series of new Panthère models that combine the elegance of the watch’s design with creatively set gemstones to produce stunning results. The setting of the gemstones mimics an abstract pattern of exotic animal prints.
Cartier offers the new models in both rose gold and yellow gold in three different case sizes—25mm × 20mm, 30.3mm × 22mm, and 36.5mm × 26.7mm. The rose gold versions feature a series of spectacular gem-set patterns for the dial, case, and bracelet that look like a proper pattern found on the body of a tiger. The yellow gold models are a little more conservative, with regular silver dials, black Roman numerals, and blued hands. The bezel and bracelet are gem-set with a pattern of diamonds to result in a watch that is still an absolute show-stopper.
There you have it! As you can see, Cartier never fails to impress at Watches and Wonders, and this year it is no different. With a string of highlights for both ladies and gentlemen, the brand shows why it is one of the biggest brands in the world of watches.
