Description
Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in Rose gold.
This is an unworn example of this watch which is now 16 years old. This is now a rare find; it is in the most perfect investment grade condition for the most discerning collector of fine watches.
You should not look at this watch if you are looking for the least expensive example, this is not it, this is simply one of the best examples.
The watch is complete with all correct boxes and paperwork, with spare solid back and setting pin still enclosed within the delivery sleave. The watch was sold in January 2005 in Augsburg Germany.
If you look closely at the watch case it is possible to see that areas of the case are taking on a lovely warm colour of age. This can of course be cleaned and polished at any stage. I however feel it is better to leave it as a mark of the fact the watch has never been worn.
The entire series of 5970 watches were only made for a very short period of time between 2004 and 2011. I have handled quite a few 5970s over the years, I personally feel that the rose gold version would be my favourite.
